back to school, back to school, to prove to Dad that I'm not a fool!

Today has been such a great day! Jimmy and I left home early and made it back to College Station safe and sound, and everyone has been in a helpful mood today..

I met with my adviser to talk about my schedule, turns out there were a lot of problems and she spent half an hour searching for open classes and moving things around, and even registered for the classes for me. She definitely went above and beyond, especially since I showed up unannounced.

then I met with an adviser in another department to talk about some specific classes and she was also super helpful!

and then later I tried to register for a class at Richland which if you read this post  know what a pain in the ass that is. luckily though, another friendly stranger went out of her way to help me. She did research on A&Ms classes and made sure I got exactly what I needed.

So today, I am thankful for the three kind women who made my day stress free! unfortunately there was a limit to the helpfulness, I was on my own when I gave Oliver a bath, cleaned his ears and brushed his teeth.

Now, time to unpack and get settled in for a new semester, so far so good!

  2. This was so nice to read, because I have honestly NEVER had a good experience with an advisor- they are always so vague with me! Good luck with school!
